The First Law Accreditation Scheme enables clients to evaluate law firms in terms of performance, service standards and value for money.

Simply contact your current lawyers and ask them to sign up at www.firstlaw.co.uk now.  You can then use the database to display information about the lawyers you are currently using and make like-for-like comparisons to ensure you are being offered the best fee rates and service levels. 

Probably the most important aspect of the Scheme is our ‘all singing and dancing’ Service Level Agreement.  This is a full form contract that governs every aspect of service delivery and billing by law firms.  It is already in use with over 30 major law firms around the country and it has proved an effective deterrent to any form of query over fees or other dispute arising.

The Scheme database contains accredited information about law firms in eight categories applied to each firm’s practice areas.
