General Medical Council announces new tender

The Times - Tuesday 7th March 2006

The General Medical Council is undertaking a tender exercise to appoint a law firm to conduct a running total of approximately 100 fitness to practise cases against doctors for an initial period of up to one year.

The competition will be conducted in three stages:

1. Expression of interest
2. Tender submission
3. Interview
